Peace Ritual Share Dreamy Track “Trust Fall”
Dream pop duo Peace Ritual have recently shared their second single with the world, titled “Trust Fall” - a three minute track that takes you on an ethereal journey through the lyrics of how one can ease the fall by trusting in the moment.
"Trust Fall” is a song about decision points or ‘cross-roads’, where you may be challenged to ‘surrender’ to the moment or process. Every step of real growth requires some sense of sacrifice and ‘letting go’” says vocalist Joel Martorana.
The duo’s first single was released only back in March of this year and has gotten a whole lot of love by the 13,000 streams on Spotify it has already racked up in such a short time along with multiple plays on Triple J’s Short. Fast. Loud, playlisting on MTV Upload, and even getting added to a few Spotify editorial playlists.
The track itself is a melodic tune that features a dreamy guitar riff underneath indie rock chords which build a foundation to support the angelic vocals that echo out into your ears and take your breath away. Instrumentally, “Trust Fall” is beautifully written and has a unique way of blending the two genres of dreampop with indie rock to create the perfect sound that pairs incredibly well with the vocals - a song truly after my own heart.
After just a short time Peace Ritual have already achieved some very impressive things after only two tracks being released so it's very exciting to see what the future holds for the incredibly talented duo. You can check them out at their debut performance as part of the after party for Beastmode’s “Back On The Map Vol. 1” festival which will be held at The Burdekin Hotel in Sydney on June 12th.
