Dead Witch Share Debut Track "15 Dennies"
Today we have finally been blessed with “15 Dennies” which is the debut track from Sydney’s psych-rock band Dead Witch and I can tell you right now, it’s nothing but perfect. If you’ve been lucky enough to see the band live already, then you already know how much talent they portray in their performances so it was no surprise when this track hit my ears today that it instantly was pure perfection. The band describe “15 Dennies” as the song about a night out in a pair of lucky black 15 denier stockings.
Straight from the start, you are punched hard in the face by the striking, forceful sounds of the bass, so you know you're in for a good time already. Steady drum beats play underneath a handful of sexy guitar riffs that wind in and out between strums of the rhythm guitars, and to top it all off the vocals are superb which completes a full force 70’s vibe track that’ll steal your heart.
This track is already a favourite of mine and I’m sure it will be a favourite of yours too after just one listen. Dead Witch have certainly started off super strong with this damn good debut track that will have you grooving all night long. If you wanna catch the band live, “15 Dennies” is being supported by a few East Coast shows that will take place in Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong, and Northern Beaches throughout June. So get ready to go and cause some witchy havoc in a city near you.
