BAD JUJU Drop Heaviest Track To Date "Misery Sticks To Me"
BAD JUJU is made up of four incredibly gifted musicians who all have an eye for creating some of the best punk rock music that the Melbourne music scene has seen since 2017. Today, they are back with their second single of the year “Misery Sticks To Me” which has been described as their heaviest single to date. Vocalist Russell Holland says, "A lot of us have felt it during the last few years as our lives were turned upside down by COVID. Lyrically, depression speaks to the listener, guiding them to sink into the darkness, offering no escape. Putting pen to paper throughout the pandemic was cathartic, it became an outlet to talk about the low moments that I'm sure we all experienced over the last couple of years. It became an important factor in helping me get through."
Grunge notes fill your ears as the track begins to play and you already know you are in for one hell of a ride as the notes take over and begin to swallow you whole, a burst of guitars and drums kick in hard, while the vocals are loud and prominent, making sure the deep lyrics are heard. From the dark lyricism to the heavy instrumentals you’ll have this new single on repeat as “Misery Sticks To Me” will grab a hold of you and won’t let go. If you want to catch the band perform this dense tune live, they have a string of East Coast tour dates starting this week which will see them take Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
